Jail and Prison

“I was in prison and you came to visit me … I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:36, 40). The Scriptures give us insight into God’s heart for prison ministry. We encourage you to follow Jesus into the prisons as well as into the community to minister to prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families.

Backpack Program

In partnership with the Dodge County Food Bank, we pack and deliver meals to Dodge County Middle School through the Backpack Program. In Georgia one in four children live in families at or below the federal poverty level. These children often receive assistance from programs operating during the week, such as free or reduced price lunches and after school programs. However, it is over the weekend that many of these children risk going hungry. These meals are delivered to the school so that the student can have the food for the weekend.

Hospital

“I was sick and you visited me” (Matthew 25:36). The Hospital Ministry is committed to ministering the love and compassion of Jesus Christ through personal hospital visits for you and your loved ones. The purpose is to bring encouragement, prayer and the healing power of Jesus Christ to those who are in the hospital.

Meals on Wheels

In partnership with the Dodge County Baptist Community Center we pick and deliver meals to seniors. If special dietary requirements are need, these can be met as well. Senior received meals at their house once a week with meals to last until the next delivery. These are home cooked meals that only need heated up.
