Welcome to Sunset Family Worship Center Nursery!

The nursery supports parents by providing a loving and safe environment for your children during worship services and other scheduled events.

First Time Guests

We look forward to seeing you in our Nursery. Please know that you are a welcome guest and we hope that you and your children have a wonderful first experience. It is our prayer that you will find our Nursery a caring place for your child; that you will feel free to fully engage in the worship services and be blessed by the Word of God.

Nursery is provided for children from infancy to 3 years old during our Sunday morning worship service at 11:00 AM and on Wednesday evenings during our Family Training Hour at 7:00 PM. Children can be checked into the Nursery 15 minutes prior to service time.

What to Expect

We recognize that leaving your child in a new environment for the first time can be overwhelming. The volunteers have been chosen because of their love for children and have completed training on how to care for the needs of your child. We hope that the following information will help you and your child have a great experience on Sunday morning.

Infants

Please bring diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and any special blankets that will soothe your baby during their stay in the Nursery.

Label all items that belong to your baby.

Toddlers – 3 years

Be sure to bring extra diapers and a change of clothes.
Label all items, including cups, snacks, diapers, pacifiers, etc.

If your children are potty training, please be sure to communicate that to the teacher. We ask that they wear pull-ups to the classrooms.

Our notification procedure will be provided for you so we are able to reach you should any needs arise.

Curriculum

The Nursery offers a range of age appropriate toys and activities for this age group. Babies and toddlers are taught about God using “The Gospel Project” curriculum for babies and toddlers.(www.thegospelproject.com/kids)
